2018 Manifesto Launch: Making Islington a Fairer Place for All.
We’re proud of of the difference we have made for local people in the last four years. Despite having it's funding cut by more than half by the Tory Government, Islington's Labour-run Council has:
- Undertaken the largest council house building programme in 30 years.
- Supported over 4,000 local unemployed people into paid jobs since 2014.
- Helped local people with the cost of living by protecting free school meals and launching Angelic Energy, a not-for-profit energy provider.
But, we know there is still much more to do, that's why we're proud to be launching our 2018 Manifesto, with Emily Thornberry MP, Jeremy Corbyn MP and Leader of Islington Council, Richard Watts which sets out our vision for a fairer Islington for all.
Be one of the first to see our manifesto and join us at the launch:
Where: Platform Islington, Hornsey Road Baths, 2 Tiltman Place, London, N7 7EE
When: 2.30pm, Sunday 25th March.
