Councillor Paul Convery

Paul Convery worked for 25 years as an economic and social researcher before being elected to serve Caledonian ward in 2006. He has lived in Cally for over 20 years and served as an Executive Member responsible for planning, leisure and transport from 2010-12 and community safety and licensing from 2012-16. He is also a governor of Robert Blair Primary School and the secretary of Islington United youth football club.

Councillor Sara Hyde

Sara was elected as a councillor for Caledonian ward in 2018, and works in prisons and criminal justice, particularly with women, deaths in custody and arts for rehabilitation; she used to work in theatre. Sara started volunteering in Cally in 2003 as a youth worker. She is a member of All Saints Church, a governor at Blessed Sacrament primary and a trustee of Sophie Hayes Foundation. In her spare time Sara enjoys eating and cooking for friends and family.

Councillor Una O’Halloran

Una has represented Caledonian ward since 2014. She was born and raised in Islington, and served as Mayor of Islington from 2017-18. Una joined the Executive in 2019 as Executive Member for Community Development and is currently the Executive Member for Homes and Communities. Una is very involved in her local church St Mary Moorfields, a regular volunteer at a local soup kitchen and a school governor at St Joseph’s Primary School. Community Spirit is what drives Una on.
