Councillor Clare Jeapes

 

 

 

 

Clare was elected as a councillor for Canonbury ward in 2014 and has been involved in the Islington community for many years, including serving for over 20 years as a school governor for a primary school. Clare has also served as school governor for a local secondary school and previously as a member of the Marquess Tenants and Residents Association. Clare is passionate about ecology and environmental issues, and is active with the community garden in King Henry’s walk.

Councillor Nick Wayne

 

 

 

 

Nick has been a councillor for Canonbury ward since 2014, and works as a Barrister, specialising in publicly funded criminal cases. Nick is active in the Canonbury community, playing a key role in the Canonbury Safer Neighbourhood Panel. Nick is also chair of Islington Council’s Audit Committee and Vice Chair of the licensing committee. In his spare time Nick is a keen cyclist and enjoys working with Canonbury charities including the RoseBowl and Help on your Doorstep.

Councillor John Woolf

John was elected as a councillor for Canonbury in 2018, and works as a writer and researcher across TV, radio and non-fiction writing. He is Secretary of the PCC at St Stephen’s Church, Canonbury, a volunteer member of Urban Hope’s Management Committee, a youth project providing safe spaces and positive relationships for young people in Islington, and a School Governor. John is the Executive Member for Community Safety.
