Councillor Santiago Bell-Bradford


Santiago was elected as a councillor for Mildmay ward in 2018, and was born and raised in Islington. He works as Head of Operations for Momentum. Santiago has previously volunteered with local Homeless charities including ‘Hope Night Shelter’ which helps provide a safe night for young homeless people. Santiago is passionate about getting young people active in politics, and supporting Arsenal.

Councillor Joe Caluori




Joe was elected to Islington Council in 2010, and served as Executive Member for Children, Young People and Families from 2013 to 2019. Joe now works as the Deputy Director of The Smith Institute, a think tank founded by former Labour leader John Smith. Joe also serves as a governor of Highbury Grove School, the City of London Academy Islington and New River College. In his spare time Joe is a mediocre Ukelele player and slightly better guitarist.

Councillor Jenny Kay




Jenny was elected as a councillor for Mildmay Ward in 2014 and works as a strategy consultant with private and third sector clients. Jenny is a Governor of the Cripplegate Foundation, on the executive of Newington Green Action Group, a school governor and a youth mentor. With an immigrant background Jenny is interested in supporting migrants’ rights and co-founded a charitable project providing legal advice and support to migrants. Jenny is Vice Chair of Islington Council’s Planning Committee and was appointed Islington’s Private Renters Champion in 2018.
